We had the pleasure of working with Binary Capital, an investment firm situated in Berkeley Square, Mayfair. As a company with traditional roots and values, they were keen to showcase this, but simultaneously wanted to upgrade their brand and website to a more contemporary look and feel. On the website their investment philosophy also had to be made crystal clear, so as to make it easy for potential investors to quickly grasp what they stand for.
Website & Branding
Designing a new logo
Emblem & type creation
The old brand didn’t feel like it truly represented everything Binary Capital stands for. They felt the old logo was cliché and wanted to design a new one that still represented their heritage. The logo we created has a good balance of being unique, yet staying true to the message Binary Capital seeks to convey. We aimed at subtly representing the shape B, with dots referencing a binary approach.
Refresh & upgrade
The new visual identity
The client wanted to keep a similar colour palette to their old one, but make the tones more contemporary. We were tasked with applying the new identity to business cards, social media, letter heads, brochures and presentations.
Rebranding their website
Binary’s previous website had been created using a template, and as a result, they wanted to breathe life into the new website. The goal with the homepage was to push their investment ethos and touch on their unique process, while also showcasing their portfolio in an easy to grasp manner. While doing this, they wanted to keep a “human touch” to differentiate them from other investment firms.
We created two brochures for Binary Capital: an Investment Policy Brochure and a Family Office Brochure. Their aim was to communicate in a way that made the brochures easy and invigorating reads. Both design and copy played part in this.
