Self Made was a streetwear brand we worked with between 2012-2013, prior to starting this agency. We were given the challenge of not only curating several small collections, but to bring Self Made to the forefront of a relatively crowded marketplace, from concept through to product delivery.

Super Effective Advertising Campaigns
I am Self Made
We expanded the reach of Self-Made and promoted the brand by creating images carrying the Self-Made message. It certainly struck a chord with people, who shared our images as if they were saying themselves that they were self-made.
A head icon we created became the campaign’s logo. It too quickly gained traction across social channels, as people Photoshopped it onto pics of their heads which they posted and we re-posted.
We knew people would want to win our clothing, so we gave them an easy way to do just that. By simply sharing or liking our image on Facebook / Twitter / Tumblr, people were in with a chance. We randomly picked a winner from a campaign that flooded timelines and feeds with the brand, prompting a big spike in sales.
This was a brand crying out for endorsements, so we sought out suitable influencers and selected models to pose with the product
Collection 1To create the first collection, we compiled a shortlist of 10 designs and posted them on Tumblr. The 3 designs that received the most notes were developed into a sweatshirt and t-shirts.
Collection 2The second collection was more refined, as we were beginning to think about marketing the brand ‘after Tumblr’. We wanted to create more ‘essential’ pieces that could be worn by the existing customer-base, and a slightly older demographic.
